Becoming a member of the Denver Metro Clean Cities Coalition (DMCCC) affirms your commitment to reducing our nation’s dependence on foreign oil, improving your community’s air quality, and promoting economic security at home. Whether you are interested in learning about technologies that will reduce your fuel consumption, positively impact your budget, or alternative fuels and vehicles to diversify your fleet, the DMCCC is a great resource.
INFORMATION AND RESOURCES
Every year, DMCCC hosts various training sessions for members of the Coalition. These information sessions include, but are not limited to: quarterly stakeholder meetings, information about the location of alternative fuel stations, trainings by industry experts on available alternative fuel vehicles, conversations with local fleet managers on their success stories, and opportunities to learn the best way to capture government, corporate, and foundation funding.
GRANTS AND FUNDING
One of the most important benefits of becoming a member of the DMCCC is access to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and various other organizations’ announcements about funding opportunities. These opportunities are for a multitude of alternative fuel uses, such as vehicle purchase, infrastructure installation, fuel purchasing, and research requests, amongst others. To obtain funding from the U.S. DOE under their State Energy Plan funding program, you must be a Clean Cities member. As a member of DMCCC you will receive notification when these opportunities are announced and assistance in preparing the grant application, if you wish to apply.
